Norm Ullman is one of the most consistent, understated, and dedicated centers in National Hockey League history. Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1982, he left his mark on both the Original Six era and the 1970s with his exemplary reliability and flawless work ethic.

Nicknamed "No-Nonsense Norm" for his direct, efficient, and unpretentious style of play, Ullman played 20 seasons in the NHL—primarily with the Detroit Red Wings and Toronto Maple Leafs—before finishing his professional career in the WHA with the Edmonton Oilers.
