Nicknamed "The Little Beaver," Drummondville native Marcel Dionne remains one of the most prolific and electrifying scorers in NHL history. Despite his compact 5'8" frame, this legendary center terrorized opposing goaltenders for 18 seasons—most notably with the Los Angeles Kings and the Detroit Red Wings—using his extraordinary hockey IQ and a surgically precise shot. Among his greatest career milestones, Dionne racked up eight 100-point seasons and six 50-goal campaigns, even capturing the prestigious Art Ross Trophy in 1980 by edging out a young Wayne Gretzky. Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1992, he retired with an astounding 731 goals and 1,771 points, cementing his legacy among the absolute elite of the sport and widely earning him the title of the greatest player to never lift the Stanley Cup.
